My teacher is mean. Mama says wait and see.
When are you cuming to my house?
BFF!
Gwen

Dear Gwenny,
Iím sorry Brownie died. I miss her, too. She was a good dog. Will you get another one?
Love,
Brendy

Dear Brendy,
Thank you for the card. I thought I would get to see you, but Mom said losing a pet isnít quite like when a person dies and you get to see the hole family.
Love,
Gwenny

Dear G,
Mom says PMS is a good time clean and declutter, sigh. Itís certainly not the time to give yourself a haircut. Mom says it will grow back, butÖ Boo-hoo. Have any hats I can borrow, ha-ha-ha? At least itís winter timeÖ

Dad says youíre traveling around Europe after your semester there is over? Can I come, too? Ha-ha, yeah right, in my dreamsÖ Have fun and be safe! Love, B

Dear B,
London is awesome! Yeah, my roommate is meeting me over here at the end of the semester and weíre touring around for three whole weeks! Itís gonna be awesome! I canít wait! Miss you! See you ASAP when I get back! I have tons of picturesÖ!
Love, G

Dearest Gwen,
Congratulations on your engagement! Youíre so lucky. Curt is a great guy.
Are you sure he doesnít have any single, nice, cute, Christian friends for me, ha-ha-ha?
Love,
Your lonely cousin,
Brenda

Dearest Brenda,
Thanks for your card and gifts. Theyíll look perfect in our new home! (Thereís SO much to do!)

Donít you worry, the right guy is somewhere out there! God has plans for you, too!

Iím so psyched that you agreed to be my maid of honor! Itís going to be a blast. Maybe we can go dress shopping when I come and visit next month? Hereís a picture of my gown for your eyes only!
Love,
Gwen

Dear Gwen,
Iím so psyched for Bobbyís baptism! Itís been way too long since we saw each other. Iím so honored you guys chose me to be his Godmother. Iíll do my best, promise.
Try to get some sleep!
Love, Brenda

Dear Brenda,
Thank you for your thoughtful, kind, (and too generous) baptism gifts for Bobby. Heíll be in college before we know it! It meant so much to us to have you there.
SoÖ when are you and Chase going to make things official?? He was great with Bobby; heíd make a fine Dad! (Sorry, no more pushing from me. Not that you need it, butÖ we approve!)
Love, Gwen

Dear G,
Thank you so much for the wedding gift; itís perfect! Having you there to stand by me made our day extra special!
I canít believe how big the twins are getting! Hopefully Chase and I will have a houseful of our own someday, Lord willing.
The honeymoon was awesome! It was definitely worth the (long) wait! ;-)
Thanks again.
Love, B

Dearest Brenda,
I canít believe this, I just canít. You can fight it--you can. You have to. Youíre stronger than It. (I refuse to even spell it out...) Did you make an appointment with that doctor Curt knew of? Make sure you get a second opinion. Hoping itís all just some horrible mistakeÖ Call me if you need me, ANY time.
LOVE ALWAYS,
Gwen

Dearest Gwen,
Yes, I had my five year (and final) scan last week; Iím still clear. YEA!!!!!!!!
The whole thing was really, REALLY awful. But, I did grow closer to God through it all--and to Chase. He was so great; taking care of the kids, and the house--and meÖ
Love,
Brenda
PS Did you have your yearly exam? Iíve earned the right to nag, right?

Dearest Brenda,
SO glad your last scan was okay, WAHOO!
Maybe when weíre wicked old and gray we can be roommates again--like we were on all those sleepovers when we were kidsÖ
Love,
Gwen

Dear Gwen,
This is silly.
Write back soon, ha-ha-ha.
Love,
Brenda

Dear Brenda,
Humor an old lady, will you? I still love getting mail. Donít you?
Love,
Your faithful cousin and roommate,
Gwen
PS How on earth did we get to be 90? Where did the time go?

What a glorious presentation!
In just one page of honest correspondence, you gently and truthfully moved us, the readers. I'm touched by the flowing years that sped by with blood relations, crowned with much love!
Very graciously written. I praise God for you!
