That's so funny. I had no idea where it was going. I liked the surprise ending.
That was too funny. LOL!
You get my vote for creativity! You also managed to infuse a serious topic with oodles of fun!
This was a creative and fun read. My favorite verse was:
"Before he’d taken twenty steps
He lost his gutter grip.
Paint then glue and gutters flew
And that caused Tut to trip."

Greater attention to meter would make an already enjoyable poem even better.
Fun!! I loved the reference back to the frogs in Egypt's kneading troughs and those in oven's stew--as well as all those word plays. Another fun one! :)
ROFL! This is too funny. I thought this was a story and was pleasantly surprised to discover it was a poem. A very well-written, and hilarious one from a frog's POV! I loved the lines with Miss Cleo and especially with the 'new pink'. lol. This was very fun to read-tops on the creativity metere. Congrats on your EC! ^_^

highly descriptive stanzas!

Brilliant verse and imagination......A delightful poem indeed.

How very clever! I loved your poetry, your wit. This poem is a combination of humour and history, enticing the reader to keep reading. My knowledge of Tut is negligible. But a picture of Egypt along the Nile was pleasurable. Great writing!!!...Helen (thanks for your comment on my "Discussion Between Casey and Helen.")
I don't know how I missed seeing this but I'm so glad I ran across it! It's just about the most creative, clever, imaginative poem I've read in a very long time. I must take the time to go through much more of your work because I have a feeling I've been missing out on a very big literary feast! Belated kudos!
