Pray About Everything
My job was becoming depressing to me. Going through the same door and walking up the same steps to sit in the same desk year after year was weighing heavy on my spirit. I decided to look for something better so I answered an ad at a seemingly more exciting company in another state.
It didn’t take them long to send me a reply. I rushed to work the next day to share the exciting news with my co-worker Sam.
“Sam, I’ve been offered a sweet job at the Fair Deal Company in Denver.”
“Are you going to take it?” Sam asked.
I’m strongly considering it.”
“But you might lose everything you have worked so hard to gain these past twenty years,” cautioned Sam.
“That’s true, but their offer is in the seven figure category and it is very tempting.”
“But if you just stop and think or pray about it you might be better off staying right here until you retire, “advised Sam. Weigh your options and your benefits before you step out to, “greener pastures.”
“Your point is well taken. I will pray about it.”
