Purpose. Driven by unity, we fight. A war rages within our world, and we battle against all odds. The News must be spread. Hearts must be won. We must conquer fear and doubt. We must stop at nothing. Death cannot bind us to this earth.

Hope. We are driven by a burning wind, pushing us towards the light. We know itís there. We know where rest awaits. We know where peace dwells. The salvation of our Lord is offered without cost. We have everlasting life waiting in the very love poured out to us.

Love. It emits from our hearts. Smiles - they speak. Hands - they give warmth. Words - they give hope. Relationships - they provide a shelter and stronghold on which to lean.

Awareness. Itís something we cannot touchÖsomething we cannot see. But our spirits sense it effortlessly, verifying that itís there. A unityÖa bond. Our eyes continue to search, but itís an intangible presence. Itís more than what our hands can grasp, while our hearts discern true existence.

Life. Sweet victory is so close we can taste it. A victory so pure that no form of evil may stand against it. To see our Lord and Savior face to faceÖto be fully enveloped in His majesty and blinding light. Triumph is at hand. We must persistÖwe must endure.

We are Godís people. We are His children and His warriors.

We are the church.

Your language is poetic and absolutely wonderfully descriptive. Much to ponder here.

This is good prose--it might be better to put it into poetry lines rather than paragraphs so that the reader can breathe in each sentence more slowly.

This is lyrical and has a peotic rhythm--I'd love to hear it read aloud as a choral reading.

I agree with Jan. This would make a terrific worship, readers-theater type presentation. I loved it.

Poetic justice here, I think. ^_^ This is great and well written. It sums up what we should all take a second thought about. Good job.

This all interlocks together so perfectly: title, message, and text. How often the pronoun they is used when it should be we.
