Buried Talents

Many people die undiscovered unused or unsung because they fail to use their talents or gifts. Some people may not even know they have gifts that can be used to benefit their brethren and bring glory to Christ, while others just too busy with the cares of life to have time to use or nurture their gifts and they may end up unused because of this.
Special gifts has been defined has miraculous gifts or supernatural gifts that appear to be given for the purpose not only of meeting a need of the moment but also for validating the message of Christianity to those who have not heard or believed.
It is a privilege and an honor to have a gift or gifts from the Lord therefore it would be unfortunate if the gift is not properly used or accounted for because we all accountable for the gift of God in our lives just like the story of the servants with the talents Matt 25:14-30.
The question is do I know my gift(s), if I do, am I using it/them, how can I be more effective in use of my gift(s).
If I am yet to identify my gift(s), how can I identify my gift(s)? Do I already serve in capacity in ministry or in the secular world that enhance the use of my gift(s)?
The above questions are questions that can help us address how profitable we are to the Lord in the use of our gifts.
A person was once asked about witnessing for Christ and he promptly replied,”oh, I don’t have the special gift of evangelism”. However there is really no special gift need to witness to anyone about Christ . If he saved us by his grace we should be able to pass on the good news just like we pass on other bits of worldly news that may not necessarily heal anybody soul.
May the Lord help us identify and use our gifts whether spiritual or service gifts to profit the kingdom of God in the name of Jesus

Yes, what a shame if we bury our gifts!

The (s) are not necessary, and were slightly distracting--and consider spicing up your writing a bit with some personal examples or object lessons.

You made several very valid and important points for us to think about.
