I am blue, with hopes and dreams
Inspiring me to new heights each day,
Flying to new sights revealed,
I chase the sea, and dwell in the sky—

You are red; your actions drive you,
You march with passion in each day,
You’re ahead in zeal and fire,
Your life a flash that gets things done;

When we meet we clash with friction
For you and I were made so different—
But when we seek to merge in love
And choose to die to our desires

We will blend and love will shine,
A hue of purple is designed—

He is green, with steadfast peace
A solid oak who will not bend,
Quite serene through all that comes
He will not choke in times of trouble;

When we meet we clash with friction
For he and I were made so different—
But when we seek to merge in love
And choose to die to our desires

We will blend and love will shine,
A hue of teal is then designed—

Different shades of different lives,
We’re quick to fight and soon divide—
But when we’ve laid our conflict down
We reflect God’s light in novel ways:

We will blend and love will shine
All hues God’s made are then designed…

Very vivid descriptions and wonderful images portraying fellowship. I like the analogy to colors that blend to create new and vibrant hues.

This is AMAZING!

Such beautiful thoughts - but lacked the synchronized smooth flow that comes with rhymed poetry, which I call 'poetry in motion'; however...To each his own...but loved the thoughts; they were beautifully poetic, even on their own-but with rhythym - It would have been a WOW! (just my opinion - which is nonconsequential) Nice job.

I usually prefer poetry that is predictable in rhythem and rhyme, but you have won me over with this one. Wonderfully creative, this is a gem.

Wow, very good blend of metaphors, imagery, and symbolism! Please don't tell me you did this in five minutes, Ben! You make it look too easy! Lol, I saw myself in the red. Big shock, I know... (lol)
