You are my mother from birth
You’ve over the years been of so much great worth
Because of your prayers and shedding many tears
You’ve seen me through the years

You are my mother and I stop to celebrate
That you my mother made me rise above my fate
That you did train me in the way that I should go
And you did love me so

You are my mother so fine
You are the one who told me that Jesus died
And that he lives and wants my heart and soul
He wants complete control

You are my mother and I stop to celebrate
That you my mother made me rise above my fate
That you did train me in the way that I should go
And you did love me so

Oh Mother you’ve made me see
That love’s for all eternity

Yesterday the children of our church recited little Mother's Day poems before our congregation. Your poem would be a lovely addition for children to recite on Mother's Day. Beautiful job!

A privilege indeed to have a Mum who shows you the Way.

I hope you shared this with your mom for Mother's Day! You have indeed risen and called her blessed! Thanks for sharing, Cheri
