“This is historic Dublin. All the businesses have the same wooden signs to look like when the town was first built.” My husband gave me a tour of the new city in which he now worked. Moving from one state to another, some of the franchise businesses were familiar, but some were new to us.
“There’s Domino’s Pizza.”
“Read that again.”
“Domino’s Pizza.” I double-checked the sign, noticing the logo in the window.
“Look a little closer.” Paul’s frustration showed in his tone of voice.
“It says ‘Domino’s Pizza’” Why didn’t he believe me? Does he think I don’t know how to read?
“I think there is a‘t’ in there. Read it again.”
“D. O. M. I. N. O. ’S. It says ‘Domino’s Pizza,’” I pointed to the brown sign on across the intersection as the light turned green.
“Donato’s Pizza.” My husband corrected as he pointed to the brown sign on the opposite side of the street.
