There are thirty-six of them
wandering the world looking
for the last few souls to save.

We knew it was coming;
the end times.
Sometime in the future,
it would be, but
no one knows exactly when,
not even Jesus.

It wouldn’t happen
now
not to us,
sometime in the future.

And, it happened
in the now.

It came.
The holy wars.
The antichrist.
The tribulation
shown to us
as sign and
warning
in the vision
John shared
with all
in the
Book.

The end times
the serpent
the symbols
all we now
see and understand.

But, the Father and
the Son-Jesus and
the Holy Spirit
would not leave
one soul to the
fallen angel
prince of the
Earth.
Not one.

Their love is
so great.
Their forgiveness,
is so great.
They sent the
thirty-six to find
those few remaining
with
the spark of Christ
within.

Twelve holy ones
in three groups
of
apostles
saints
and
disciples of Him

Thirty-six
shopping
hoping
searching
to find in the
remains of
humanity
and the
world
the few
souls
left behind
that they
could
still
save
for
HIM
for
eternity.

Nice job on this creative poem. I was especially impressed with line breaks and the imagery of the 36 searching and shopping. I enjoyed it!
