With His Spirit I’ve been filled, but
Who am I?
Yahweh gave the skill and knowledge
Who am I?

Working in the sanctuary
Who am I?
Doing work as He commanded
Who am I?

Who am I that He should choose me?
Who am I, from Judah’s tribe?
Who am I to worship Yahweh?
Who am I, His plans transcribe?

Molding, ham’ring gold and silver,
Who am I?
Master crafter, chosen teacher
Who am I?

Cutting, setting stones and jewels,
Who am I?
Wood and gold to tell a story,
Who am I?

Who am I to bear such honor?
Who am I, to teach this skill?
Who am I, my talents offer?
Who am I, such plans fulfill?

Weaving, sewing linen curtains,
Who am I?
Threads of purples, blues and scarlet,
Who am I?

Set apart, Yahweh’s designer
Who am I?
Knowledge in all kinds of crafts but
Who am I?

Who am I to make His dwelling?
Who am I, a man devout?
Who am I to question Yahweh?
Who am I to live in doubt?

Who I am, no longer question;
All I am is one called out.
I am but a humble servant
Yahweh’s will, I’ll be about!

I have to admit this verse came to mind when I saw the topic. You took a unique look at the verse.

I bet you've already set this to music. It's really very good, you know.

Definitely got me thinking about the work He gives ALL of us to do! This is thought-provoking and lovely piece.

I can definitely see this set to music and sung at a VBS or Sunday School. Really clever!

I enjoyed your mixture of riddle and rhyme. Quite creative and well-written.

I've wondered about the talented people God used to construct the tabernacle--what an awesome job! I loved that last stanza!!!

Great work! I could definitely see this in song. What a great way to express this Biblical scene.

Your poem points out our lifelong puzzle of why God would honor us, to let us be his arms and legs, to spread his Kingdom. It sort of reminds me of the last chapter of Job: where were you when I hung the stars....? Good job.
