Oh my, this is wonderful! Quite lyrical and very touching. A lovely, lovely piece of writing.

I enjoyed reading this. I loved the cycle of life so descriptively portrayed with the grandmother-granddaughter relationship!
This was such a sweet story--excellently written.

Absolutely...excuse me, my tears are falling and I cannot see to type. Words can't describe this fantastic piece anyway; Just SUPER, A+. Creative! Surely a Blue Ribbon Special. This entry was done by a talented Writer.

I loved this story! The title grabbed me right away. Beautiful symmetry in the repeated sentence ("The cookies had too much salt") as the granddaughter grows up from a two-year-old to a mom, always returning to those salty, teary moments of baking with her grandma.

Great descriptions, too! I especially enjoyed "plenty of milk and giggles" and "arms full of baby." I could see the grandma and her granddaughter together through all stages of life (and death). Moving message as well. Excellent job!
