" I should get all the credit, simply because I truly deserve it. I was the one who did all the research. I was the one who conducted all the interviews. I did all the necessary things to do: organized focus group discussion, visited the national and aven the municipal libraries, and surf the internet to gather all the needed and factual data. And duh! I was the one who wrote that. I even bought books on technical writing and grammar."
" Then with all the effort I've exerted and time spent, someone, who didn't even care to help you, will get all the praises and commendation."
" Who said life was fair?"
" Yeah! I know, she is my boss. But then, I think it was just proper for her to acknowledge me and the things that I contributed for the success of the project."
" But did she? No. She was so consumed of the praises our high bosses were giving her that, I think, she got a selective amnesia and forgot all about me."
" I don't deserve this. I'm not gonna spend my whole life working behind the scene."
" People can be so rude and selfish."
Pause. Silence...
" My dear child, how many times have people robbed me of the glory I deserve, of the praises I long for? How many times have I heard people exclaim, "I did it. I did it," when in fact I was the One who did it for them. Instead of being thankful, they boasted. But still, I'm here for them. In silence, I remain."
" Be meek, for you will inherit the earth. The honor and praises the world gives will not last forever. And when you die, the world will forget about it. They will forget you. It is as if you've never existed at all. That's how the world works, don't go with it."
" Be of cheer. The world may not see you and your goodness. But I do. The good things that you do will never be in vain. You will be rewarded in heaven."
" Don't cry. The world will never sympathize. But be grateful for you have a God who does not judge you the way people do."

" Ei, mel! oversleeping? well, got a good news for you. An executive you happened to interview during your research is interested to hire you as a researcher on a part-time basis. He was so impressed with your performance. I'm very proud of you, bestfriend."
" Oh! God..thank you..thank you... i'm sorry if i've been too focused on myself... "
