Many have tried to prove it erroneousness, but to no avail. People say it is filled with misinformation, contradictions, and misleads people. They say the person foretold in the Bible was crazy and delusional. No one man could do all he did.
It started in the town of Nazareth. A young virgin named Mary miraculously conceived a child, and her betrothed, Joseph was going to divorce her quietly, but an angel appeared to him in a dream, and told him that the child Mary carried was the only begotten Son of God.
The child’s name was Jesus. From the age of twelve he amazed the scribes with his knowledge. He confounded his parents with his strange behavior, but Mary ponder all these things in her heart.
He grew to manhood, and was baptized by John the Baptist, at which time a dove landed on Jesus, and God pronounce that this was His Son in whom He was well pleased. Jesus went to a wedding feast before beginning his ministry. Mary went to Jesus, and told him they had ran out of wine. Jesus said to Mary, “woman my time has not yet come.” She instructed the slaves to do whatever he told them. He told the slaves to fill the large jars, used for ceremonial washing, with water, and Jesus turned it into the fines wine ever created. The host tasted the water, now wine, and said to the groom that they usually serve the best wine first, but you have saved the best for last.
At 30 Jesus began his ministry, and he gathered twelve men to be his disciples. They followed Jesus everywhere watching, and learning from the Master. He taught his disciples, and the people many things all the while healing all manners of sickness and demon possessions. He taught and fed five thousand with only two fishes and five small loaves of bread. The disciples gathered 12 baskets full of left over fish and bread.
The Sadducees and Pharisees despised Jesus, because He told them the truth about their hypocrisy. They plotted His death with all the religious leaders. They tried everything to trick Jesus with trick questions. The religious leaders had head knowledge, not heart knowledge of the scriptures. They were arrogant, egomaniacs who taught the people, but didn’t live what they taught.
One of his disciples was a thief. His name was Judas Iscariot. He betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. He walked up to Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane and kissed him on the cheek. Jesus was taken before the elders. Jesus said he would destroy the temple, and the elders accused him of heresy.
After that he was taken before Pontius Pilate where the religious leaders incited the crowd by shouting to crucify Jesus, and to release Barabbas. Jesus received 40 lashes, was beaten with rods, kicked, hit in the face, had his beard and hair ripped out by his punishers. They placed a crown on thorns upon his head, and led him away to be crucified.
He was buried in a tomb, and a large rock was rolled over the entrance. Guards watched over the tomb. The women went to the tomb 3 days after the crucifixion, and the stone was rolled away. Jesus had risen from the dead. Jesus appeared to many people after his resurrection. The disciples watched as He ascended into heaven.
The living breathing word of God took on flesh, and walked among us, and we knew Him not. We crucified God’s sinless Son, because he was the only one able to rectify the sin of Adam and Eve. He became the propitiation for our sins.
This earth will be totally destroyed by God the Father. God is the only one who knows the day of earths destruction. Jesus will come like a thief in the night, so all should be like the 6 virgins who had oil for their lamps, and was prepared for the bridegrooms coming.
Still some to this day deny that something so awesome, and wonderful could come to pass. They call it foolishness, but those who believe will spend eternity with Jesus, Gods only begotten Son.
