Vibrant and full of laughter
Spunky and a little bit wacky
Short in stature but tall in caring
Waiting to be discovered.
A young man
Quiet and steady of character
Responsible and worthy of trust
Tall in stature and filled with compassion
Looking for a dream.
A courtship.
A wedding.
A marriage.
A house.
A family.
A life
Of trials and testings
Of misunderstandings and accusations
Of silences and forbidden tears
Of anger and hurt.
An existence
Of cold resentment and loveless interaction
Of physical illness and spiritual hypocrisy
Of emotional abuse and mental dis-ease
Of repressed feelings and murderous thoughts.
A living death
Empty of joy
Empty of peace
Empty of hope
Empty of life.
A living hell
Full of rejection
Full of bitterness
Full of confusion
Full of decay.
An endless reality
Confined within the walls of unrealistic expectations
Paralyzed by the battering ram of blame
Drained of all that matters and brimming with all that kills
Consumed in the blaze of everlasting pain.
In the end…
The next generation infected with the curse.
