Very nice introduction and progression of the story. I like the way the subject found "healing", and then passed it along to her children. Excellent!
This was nicely told. I could sense your pain and your children's pain. I liked your description of your oasis, not so much in the items themselves, although wonderful on their own, but in what they represented: memories, a loving and sacrificial act and in the legacy the held.

My favorite line is:
"He felt close - out of reach close". There is something so dramatic that is evoked by these words. This was very nicely done.

Jesus takes what is broken and makes something beautiful. A lovely story.

Bittersweet is this ink-filled page. In our brokeness, we find healing; in our pain, we feel joy; in our loss, we gain everything in the matchless Oasis of Jesus! Beautifully written!
