This reminds me of something in a hymn. Sorry if I don't get it completely correct. "Things of this world grow dim in the light of His glory and grace." Walk in the light as He is in the light. Lovely story capturing struggle and surrender.

I especially liked the line: "He saw where you fell, and he is coming to help you up." You shared an age old truth that it is not as much the talk but the walk that matters.

Great inspiration found in this devotional. Was blessed by reading it.

What a powerful way to illustrate the truth of God's Word! First, I was reminded of the broad-way and the narrow-way Scripture; and then one of my favorites: "But, if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin."

If you see allegories whenever you read the Word, you could write a devotional book like none other. This is exceptional writing. I'm glad I found this---when I came looking for your name to thank you for your comment on my entry, too! :) Much appreciated!
