My Very Own Father

I don't know what You are doing,

But, I know You're doing Your perfect will,

And, I don't know why You do what You do,

But, I know You do it, because You love me!

I don't know how You're going to do it,

But, I know You'll do it according to Your great power.

So You cannot fail,

You cannot fail,

No, You will not fail!

You'll carry me,

You'll pray for me,

You'll deliver me...

According to Your great power, love and will!

Yes, You'll carry me

And we all will see

The mighty works of Your great hand

The awesome power of Your great love

The beauty of Your perfect plan--

All because You're my real, live Father,

My perfect, holy Father,

An almighty Father,

A real, live Father,

My very own Father...

You are so good to me.

Yes, You are so good to me.

It was a bit confusing when you used the phrase "you'll pray for me" - as I assume you are speaking of your Father In heaven...and He doesn't pray; however, heartfelt thoughts throughout.

I liked the clarity of your style. I found myself putting a melody to these words as I read. Good job and God Bless!

Sometimes the most profound messages are conveyed in the simplest ways. That's what you did here. I liked this piece. Nice work.

I thought of a song as well. Try putting it to music?? ;)
