TITLE: This Is That Peace
By Karen Chilton

This is That Peace
It is a peace rooted in confidence that God’s will shall be done. It is a peace surpassing our own intellect, knowledge, logic and understanding. It is a peace springing up inside us like a fountain of pure refreshing water to fortify our soul. It is a peace enveloping us in a calm and serene state of mind. It is a peace not dependent on our current circumstances, resources, or another’s point of view. It is a peace creating a song in our heart singing, “ I know I’m going to make it some how.” It is a peace delivering us from the stress of trying to figure out how to cope alone. It is a peace saying, I believe God will do for me what He promised in His Word. It is a peace in obedience to the Master’s voice which says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” It is a peace which submits, handing over the burden to the one who is the author and finisher of our life.
Words of Wisdom:
When we find this peace within ourselves, we are responsible to share it with others who need it. When a person is suffering in pain, grief and sorrow, their soul needs to rest in this very peace. It is a calm, confident, assurance in God’s purpose for our life. When we know who we are, whose we are, and our purpose here on earth, then nothing and no one can separate us from the love or plan of God for us. Speak His word into your life and stand on His promises. His word will be manifested when we cast our cares on Jesus and hold fast to our faith.
At times when I feel I am suffering under the afflictions of this life, the scripture text which never fails to comfort me is Psalms Chapter 91. I just read the whole chapter over and over until I feel bathed in God’s peace. As my confidence builds, my soul is then release to pray for God to intercede on my behalf and guide me in the truth of His word. God’s word will shine a light onto the path I must take in every decision I must make. It will guide me to the answer to keep me from day to the next.
Have you found this peace? Do you have a place of refuge where you can go to restore your faith and strength? Do you take time out regularly for yourself to meditate in your secret place of peace and serenity?
II Thessalonians 3:16; “May the Lord of peace himself always give you his peace no matter what happens. The Lord be with you all.” (New Living Translation) I Corinthians 14:33; “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” Jeremiah 28:9 states; “So a prophet who predicts peace must carry the burden of proof. Only when his predictions come true can it be known that he is really from the LORD." When the word LORD in the Bible is in all caps, it means the most high God, which is the Lord of lords. Now I, being the Servant of the LORD who has been called to the office of a prophet speak Peace into your life at this very hour in the name of Jesus Christ. I speak health to your body and joy to your heart. May the supernatural peace of God saturate you and drench you from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. I bind the enemy by applying the blood of Christ on the mantel of your soul through the reading of this prayer. I loose the power of God through the blood of Christ to rest, rule, and abide with you from this day forward. May God bless your going out and your coming into the sanctuary of the most high. Enter His gates with thanks giving and His courts with praise. Claim your victory now and signify to every angel and every demon that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you and has called you according to His name by the lifting of your hands and a shout of praise. “Hallelujah!” Amen

To lure more Readers into your devotional - try spacing between paragraphs; which makes it more reader friendly. Nice job with a good message.

Good job. I agree with the above comment about the spacing, but other than that, this piece reminds the reader of the peace that comes from God's word. Very encouraging, exhorting piece! The exhortation really comes through strongly.

Good job. I agree about the paragraph spacing.
