Many years ago my wonderful husband was a heavy smoker. He was smoking about one and a half pack cigarettes a day. Due to me having asthma, I was suffering too!
Then one day Jesus touched his heart and gave him a new lease on life.
Oh what a happy day that was, for not only him, but for our entire family of four. We had two small sons at the time.
Even though God saved him, and took his sins away, he still was fighting the habbit and he knew that to be a true christian and do what God would have him do, he must give those cigarettes up.
So we continued to pray along with other fellow believers, that God would
undertake in a very special way, and all things would work out according to His Almighty Word.
One day down the road, he headed for work, of course he lit up a cigarette. But when he got to work, he had prayed earlier, "God please make my willingness willing, to give up this terrible habbit" then he went to the trash and tossed in his package of cigarettes, and turned his back and walked away.
From that day to this, he has never smoked another cigarette.
God did a miracle in his life, and without even knowing it, God put the words in his heart "Please make my willingness willing, and take this desire away forever"
When God is in it, Nothing is Impossible!

Praise God for working in your husband in such wonderful ways!

"Please make my willingness willing" - Wow, that has such an unexpected affect.

Nice work. Keep on writing!

I loved that line too. I wish my sister would read this!
