The purpose of the Epistles was to explain the glory of Christ
The first disciples were unclear of the mysteries of his great revelation
The apostle Paul was anointed by the Lord to shed the truth
And to share the gospel to the gentiles after the disbelief by God’s chosen
The Epistles were originals of its kind, God’s directions to his church
The most modern of God’s love letters to those who followed the Way
They were letters of love, letters of hope and letters of encouragement
They were letters of absolute truth so that his children wouldn’t be led astray
God’s children of today still desire to seek epistles declaring God’s love
Inspiring new words that still proclaim God’s everlasting and absolute truth
Many writers and poets have walked away from proclaiming His goodness

That God is still working in the heart of his children to praise his name
And to teach, edify and strengthen us to overcome our spiritual foes
As Paul’s letters to the church were essential for its growth and enrichment
