A “little here, a little there” say some. But you brought nothing in and, by gosh, you ain’t taking nothing out.
I don’t know what it’s like to put all my trust in things. Maybe it’s God’s blessings that have kept me in humble circumstances. All I know is it’s all gonna be alright.
When I’m alone; it’ll be alright.
When I’m hungry; it’ll be alright.
When my family is afflicted; it’ll be alright.
And, bless God, when I die; it’ll be alright!
It’s not that I fault others for wanting their money and their fancy cars; I just feel bad for them.
I want nothing more than a place at the table beside the one who died for me. Nothing more. There is nothing more.
God help those who believe to be rich in the world is to have everything you need.
God help those who believe to be close to God you must be financially blessed.
The word of God is contrary to either of the suppositions. I want God! Anything else is simply icing on the cake.
Anything less is ludicrous.
