I cannot do it alone
I admit it
Everything I do
I should submit it
Lord to You.
Lord to You.

You are not my babysitter
You are not my kindergarten teacher
But as my God and as my friend
You are my help
When I am at my wits end
I will call on You.

Should do it before I struggle so hard
Should lay it down, and make You Lord
But I think I got it under control
In that way, Iím such a fool.

And I know

I cannot do it alone
I admit it
Everything I do
I should submit it
Lord to You.
Lord to You.

For You called the worlds into existence.
The universe is run by Your decree
So why should I hold on to the insistence
That I what I say and want have to be.

I cannot do it alone
I admit it
Everything I do
I should submit it
Lord to You.
Lord to You.

Very effective use of repetition here--I like this poem a lot.
