Topic: Space (01/23/06)

TITLE: The Space Filled
By Michael Hanna

I have heard many views of God, and how far and distant we are from him. A great void of space separates us from his glorious presence, and even though man can travel in space, and send probes deep into our solar system, we still can not reach him on our own; however, if man will open his eyes, and understand what is written, then he would know that that great rift of space has been given a bridge to the vary thrown of Almighty God.

We no longer have to search for ways into space, and wonder of the glory that God has ordained with his mighty power, but we can grab hold of the one he sent to fill in the space that man placed between himself and his creator, for there is no denial of the one whom he has sent. He has been witnessed and declared, and can not be denied, for every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that he is the Lord. Though many still look up into space and wonder what God is like, this man showed us by his very way that he carried himself. When he spoke, when he walked, and when he cried; his very essence was sparked from the Almighty himself. Just as he told Philip when he asked the Lord to reveal the Father unto them, he said if you have seen me you have seen the Father.

So the depth of space is no longer an issue, but Jesus fills that void so that we will not have to depend on the impossible demands of the law, or radical religious grandeur, but by the simplicity of faith. As a child believes in Santa Clause, or the Tooth Fairy. When there is absolutely no doubt in the heart, but a strong unyielding belief that the Son of God has filled that empty space, and has given us a perfect gift of direct access to the Father through his blood, and has given us son-ship into the eternal kingdom of a holy and unapproachable God. Who through his grace, gave his Son to be hung on the cross, and raised him from the dead, so those that simply believe on him shall be saved. How that great space has now been eliminated, and a simplistic method to God is now in effect. That by the faith of the Son of God, we are saved.

How great a love is this that the ruler and creator of everything living and non-living in his space. Has come down and humbled himself for man-that turned his back on him, and he willingly laid down his life for us, and poured out his peace offering upon the cross, and took our place of death from sin; However, God raised him from the dead, and sat him at His right hand, and made everything in His space subject unto him, and he holds out his hands and welcomes into his kingdom the ones that faith, and believe in the one and only Son of God, Jesus our savior and Lord, who has filled the seemingly endless space that was between us and God, but now by him and through him we are sons of the Most High, and are transfigured from out of the darkness, and brought into the light as a new creature that walks by faith and not by sight.

So God is no longer in the far reaches of space, but is now here in us, through the gospel of power through his Son Jesus Christ. Who reveals unto us the power of salvation, by faith, unto those that believe, and that void empty space is now filled with the glorious presences of the Holy Spirit, that brings the entire trinity to live with the one who loves and has the faith of Jesus.
