Think how we plan to entertain -
Foods to prepare, things to attain,
Menu to make, products to buy,
Many small details, one can’t deny.
The well-laid plan would hope to ensure
Fine food and drinks on table of allure
With lovely music detracting from duty
Along with setting of fragrant beauty.
Fellowship sweet with elite conversation
Causes guests to enjoy sharing revelations.
We all love these times to share our lives
Among our friends, husbands and wives.
The food plan determines the amount to fix
As we prepare to peel and cover and mix
Achieving fine quality in food we’ll enjoy.
Then our best manners we’ll want to employ.
The food is planned, one part of the action
And is significant to assure satisfaction.
Improving the setting requires other work
Cleaning and polishing, one can’t shirk.
Total plan falls in place with many details
Assurance of which certainly entails
Considerable task for potential host
As he wishes his plan to reap the most.
Our Savior has made a magnificent plan
Sumptuous and lavish for each woman and man.
With life plan and purpose for each in place,
His goal for us is completing life race.
Just imagine the grandiose plan that awaits
Of peace, perfection and the love He creates.
He’s the Host of all hosts with choirs all around
Formed of angels leading us to let praise abound.
His invitation requiring RSVP
Is made quite clear for all who will see.
In the book of all books for you and me
His plan for eternity is prepared and free.
Don’t miss it dear friend, this lifetime of peace
Hosted by our Father in perfection of ease.
It’s fellowship and opulence in gold and pearl,
Is only a part of His plans to unfurl!
