Home. Home on the range. Home is where the heart is. Home is where everything you have is, except the things you leave at work. Work, thatís where my home is. I feel like Iím always there. Well, thatís not true. Iím only there at night. All night. Every night. Every night when Iíd rather be home in bed. Well, sometimes Iíd rather be at work, really. When I canít sleep and I toss and turn. I canít sleep at work of course. Iím not really there every night either. It just seems like I am. When I get to sleep at night, I canít, cause Iím usually at work. I mean, Iím usually at work at night, thatís why I canít sleep at night when I can. Sorta. The doctor said night work would ruin my brain, but Iím ok.

Ever dream about work? I do. Sometimes. Itís then I know I really do need a holiday. Holidays, huh. I think Iíll have my next holiday at work. Probably better off. I work harder at home than I do at work. Work at home, huh! I donít work much at home. Usually in bed asleep, or trying to sleep. Bad news when itís so hot you could fry an egg between the sheets. Buy an air conditioner? Sure, and breathe in the same air that you breathe out, now that can kill you! Especially if youíve got bad breath. Bad breath, now thereís another story, for another day maybe.

Iím at home now. And Iím not asleep, or trying to. Maybe I should got out and mow the grass or wash the car or weed the garden orÖ maybe I should go back to bed. Afterall, Iíve gotta go to work tonight, and I canít sleep at work, remember. I might stay home. Nah, wouldnít be able to sleep. Betta off at work. See I told ya. Iíll go to work and think about being at home and try not to go to sleep. Home is where something is Iím sure. I know, itís where my mind is. Especially when Iím at work trying to stay awake and wishing I was in bed. Ah, Iím going to bed. Goodnight, dayÖ whatever. The doctor said night work would ruin my brain, but Iím ok.

I'm still laughing! Been there done that and without humor life would certainly be dull. Thanks for the chuckle, it is good for the soul and for the brain!

I like this little gem of humour. It certainly is a gift to write so you can make others laugh. Look forward to reading more of your work. Well done.

It took me a moment to get into this, but I have a huge smile on my face...night time work really does make everything very abstract. Really good. God bless.
