Escape.
What comes to mind when you first relay that message to your brain? Fear? Uncomfortable? A certain sticky situation? Whatever it may be, know this: God is with us. Right now, or in five minutes, He is with us every single moment for the rest of our lives. Did you know that? Do we even recognize the concept? Of someone other than our friends and family, who can be with us every day? Up close and personal, beside us in the storms, weathering it out until the bitter end.
Whatever problems you are facing now or circumstances that you are seeking to escape; take comfort in the fact that there is One who is always with you. No matter what. You can call on Him 24-7-365. Free of charge, with no long distance fees either.
Whether it’s at 3 am your time, and something is disturbing you, or 10 pm somewhere else, God is always there. Ready and waiting to answer your questions and solve your problems, and calm your deepest fears.
Remember to call on Him first; when you are lost and in need of shelter. Remember your favorite verse in times of panic, when fear of the unknown or known unsettles you. Remember He is there with you and for you and will provide a way of escape.
1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
