Sam sipped on his coffee cup then put it down. "I'm doing a story about a man named Paul."
Ananias put some creamer in is cup and stirred it. "That's interesting, so tell me about him?"
"Well Ananias, it’s about one of those preachers that fills stadiums."
Ananias drank from his mug. "What's wrong could someone do by preaching the gospel do?"
Sam frowned, "He's a fraud, and is fleecing the sheep."
The waitress refilled Ananias cup as he rolled his eyes. "What do you mean?"
Sam chuckled, "This man killed people, and he claimed to be converted to Christianity.
He's a phony TV preacher that only wants money."
Ananias starred, "Hmm."
Sam didn't make eye contact as he stirred his coffee. "I also found out he's having an affair."
Color drained from Ananias's face. "How do you know this? Have you gone to one of his crusades?"
Sam clenched his teeth. "No, I haven't, I have relied on information that other people have told me."
"Sam, who told you this?"
"I have an informant."
Ananias scowled, "Who?"
"Ananias, I'm not going to tell you!"
Ananias hit the table with his fist. "It's all lies!"
Sam shook his head. "No...no...no, it's all true."
Ananias ran his hand threw his hair and looked down. "Sam, I didn't want to tell you this, because I know you hate Christians. One night I had a dream, the Lord told me to go house of Judas to meet a man named Saul now Paul."
Sam interrupted Ananias "He changed his name, which tells me he's phony!"
Ananias waved his finger at Sam. "That doesn't mean he's phony. I continue on, I told the Lord that I didn't want to see him. I was afraid that Saul would have killed me too. The Lord told me that he had an important job for Saul now Paul to do, so I went to see him and I'm glad I did. I believe Paul is for real he's not doing this for money. He did not have an affair."
The waitress walked by and motioned to the men to be quiet. Sam lowered his voice and said, "What makes you so sure he's telling you the truth?"
Ananias banged his spoon on the top of his cup. "I work as his assistant, and I am coordinating his crusades. If you write a story on him, it will be based in hearsay not fact. I beg you to talk to him and get the real story. If what your saying were true, which it's not. Doesn't he have the right to tell his side of the story?"
Sam jut his chin out as he put on his coat. "Paul, executed people, I trust what my informant said; besides people don't change."
Ananias looked over his glasses. "The Lord did this; Paul saw a light on the way to Damascus. The light was the Lord Jesus Christ. He changed Paul; the things you heard are gossip. Please don't publish lies about him."
Sam stood up. "Sorry, I am writing my story."
"Someday Sam you're going to have to answer to the Lord for what you wrote."
"I don't care." Sam stormed out of the restaurant.

Paul's story is a fabulous witness for Christians, and he became one of the more prolific writers of the Bible.
Great job with this!
God bless~
