Winter will soon blow in upon us. Are we prepared? Will winter winds wend their way into our souls or hearts or minds? Do we have snowshoes to traverse our barren lands? Or do adventurous skiing holidays grip our souls? Do nature hikes through local parks on picture-taking expeditions provide a little something different for our weather-weary bodies? Why not try a novel, refreshing approach to winter woes and equip ourselves for necessary travels to break the icy grip of the snowy season? Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for our winter ways and means of enjoying ourselves and bettering the lives of others! What about Christmas? Are we prepared for that highly significant event when memories of family and friends crowd our thoughts and hopefully instill us with thoughts of joy? Praise God for this Christmas celebration if it can be that for you! Will we bless our snow shovels or snow blowers this winter? Or will we resist the urge to curse our marvellous mornings and bless the creatures of our wonderful world?
May the supersoft snowman of our backyards melt our hearts and encourage us to make a stand in the wintry wonderland of home! What winter ways will win for us and our families pleasing places during this festive, fulfilling upcoming season?
