Weary exhaustion,
emotionally deprived,
looking for something
to confirm self alive,
humankind turns to all
that is within reach,
to things that can be touched,
to things that we can see.

Sometimes itís alcohol,
sometimes the cigarette,
sometimes itís food,
and sometimes drugs
that makes one to forget,
sometimes it is pornography,
sometimes illicit sex;
sometimes we try it all
and make a mixed up mess.

When all along we needed
just plain ole simple love,
while searching all around us
we should have looked above.
For God, our Creator,
left a space in me and you
that nothing or no body
but He can fit into.

Wisdom is calling loudly,
ďCome, come this Way
and find the thing
youíre looking for
on this very day!Ē
Why should you search for comfort
all your life and then,
step into the other realm
without knowing Him?

Jesus says, ďIím standing
at your heartís door now,
pull the latch string
there inside, invite Me to come in
and I will give you sweet peace
and Iíll free you from your sin,
and place an "Expired" date
on searches done before.

Come to Me, accept My Love,
and My provision, you will
have life with Me now; and later,
life with Me in Heaven.
I don't care what it was that
in the past you've done,
your search is now completed,
you have found My love,
the Love you've always needed.
