Causes every one to look.
I try to find an answer
That’s not written in a book.
I stumble all around
Make myself appear a fool.
Tearing down all the things
I thought were very cool.
No matter how hard I try
I hear the people laugh.
But Jesus is protecting me
With His rod and with His staff.
I find that I’m self-conscience
As I stand before the Lord.
Stuttering a loss for words
I bow before His sword.
He covers me with His wing
He helps me stay in line.
He shows me how to live my life
He tells me I am fine.
We don’t need to be ashamed
When we need a helping hand.
We can lay it at God’s feet
He does understand.
So don’t be so red faced
As you blunder all around.
Our father sees beyond that
You’ll never see Him frown.
You need not feel ashamed
Come get down off the shelf.
The awkwardness will go away
If you only be yourself.
