Raindrops fell most every day
Where little Sara slept and lay
Her mother stayed right by her side
Praying that the doctors lied

They said she hadn't much more time
Her little light refused to shine
And maybe in a day or two
This sad ordeal would soon be through

Abundantly the prayers did come
From family, friends and everyone
That gave sweet Sara healthy grace
And brought her back from Heavens Gate

This next part I'm told is true
That after in a month or two
The rain came back the people say
And Sara spoke these words one day

“Oh Mommy what a lovely sound
Of raindrops on the earthly ground”
“It feels like when God held me tight
Within his arms of loving light”.

this made me think of my grandmother. She wrote poems just as thoughtful as this. Thank you for bringing this memory back to me..

This was a sweet reminder of faith, and lovely way to present your message. Had to read-I liked the title too. God bless ya, littlelight

This was a very sweet poem! I did like it! Just a suggestion that you check your punctuation with regards to possession. Thanks!
