ETERNITY IS WHERE GOD IS.
Before the beginning, God...
In the nothingness God planned His galaxies.
As he formed them He pushed then into outer space;
free – with no restrictions, no time, no barriers;
governed only by their internal gravitational biases.
He appeared to take more interest in His creation called Earth.
As He created the masses for the land and seas,
forces were required to keep them in their places.
There was one period when He wanted the Earth to be dark and light.
This resulted in Him creating time,
and time governed everything on Earth.
Out of Eternity God sent His Son to Earth,
to demonstrate His power.
The people He had created had rebelled
and required a redeeming sacrifice to atone.
He had created life.
Sin had created death.
God’s Son achieved the possibility for forgiveness
and for people to be transformed from death to life.
That meant abundant life, for life.
That meant eternal life, after death.
Death is the step from Time to Eternity.
There was a specific time of death.
There was an eternal ‘moment’ of transfer
from one dimension of existence to another dimension of living
At death everything associated with life ended.
The redeemed soul was welcomed into Heaven.
Perhaps a poem can be inserted,
written as from a loved one now living in Eternity
SO, THIS IS HEAVEN!
I’ve Met Jesus!
He knew me!
Together we approached the Father,
His love exceeds all earthly expectations.
The home had been prepared for me personally,
Everything was my favourite
And gave total satisfaction.
There is a very special personal mark,
A magnificent Butterfly.
This is a beautiful place
Everything depicts harmony,
The scenery is magnificent and awesome,
The details are exquisite and exceptional,
There is glitter and sparkle from precious stones
And colour is in abundance.
This is a peaceful place,
Everything depicts divine tranquility.
The whole atmosphere is conducive
To resting in Father’s care.
There is a cheerful calmness throughout all heaven
And gives marvellous status to my new beginning.
I am at ease and fully relaxed.
Receiving the benefits of peace being poured upon me.
Joy abounds!
Sadness is absent!
No wandering thoughts distract
From the pureness of His Holy presence.
Negative emotions never came with me,
Memories of loved ones left behind
Are shrouded in my Lord’s perfection.
What I now see of loved ones left behind
They are enveloped by God’s Grace.
There are no tears.
Everything is observed
Within the context of the joy of the Lord.
The Joy of His provisions...
The Joy of His life...
The Joy of His presence...
The Joy of abiding in His love...
Time is meaningless in Eternity.
There is no aging here.
There is neither sickness nor infirmity,
We are all made whole.”
Time is meaningless in Heaven.
There are no daily divisions.
Here are no time distances.
Eternity is one great space in which to enjoy
the wholeness of our new creation.
No effortless movement from one location to another.
Effective changes easily made from one situation to another.
Nothing is listless – everything is vibrant.
The absence of Time does not result in boredom.
There is no emptiness when surrounded by evidences of God’s Perfection.
Within the serenity of Eternity
there is a total basking in perfect peace and love.
Alongside these glorious blessings
is the continuous note of praise,
sung by Angels
and the redeemed of the Lord.
Eternity is not a silent portion of a busy global system.
Eternity is where God is,
and where God is enjoyed.
