We really thought God was going to forsake us and we would all be killed. We could see the world was getting worse and worse. We now had a president who supported infanticide. People were turning into outright heathens. It was like they were daring God to take them on. Of course we knew He would and to be honest our group didnít want to be here when He did. We felt that we should unite with true believers no matter which Christian church they went to and put minor issues aside. We agreed that our statement of faith would be the Apostles Creed. (All faiths agree on this) We did not want members of cults joining us who did not understand that Jesus is God. We formed a group called CAMP Jesus. CAMP stood for Catholics, Anabaptists, Messianic (Jews) and Protestants. We were all true believers.

The Catholics had been infiltrated with Progressives and were in a state of rebellion. The Protestants churches were in a state of rebellion. (2 Thessalonians 2:3) The Messianic Jews that were there gave us a greater insight as to what was going on. The Anabaptists didnít have the problems that the Catholic and Protestant believers were going thru. The group was formed and it encouraged us greatly as we met often as we saw the Day of the Lord approaching. (Hebrews 10:25) Our prayer every time we met was to allow us to escape the wrath to come. (1 Thessalonians 1:10)

This was a great experience and we felt Godís presence thru the Holy Spirit as we met. We all developed a stronger personal relationship with Jesus than we ever had before. We could see the prophecies coming true. Israel was back in their homeland. The Messianic Jews were really helpful explaining how Israel returning to their homeland and getting Jerusalem back was a fulfillment of scripture. They also told us how the generation that saw that happen would see the conclusion when Christ returns and binds the hands of Lucifer. (Matthew 24:32-34) They gave us great hope when they explained how Michael the Archangel was the one who threw Lucifer down to earth. Then they told us Michael the Archangel would be sent by God at the time of distress and those whose names were written in the book would be delivered from that wrath.

We decided to make a letter telling of the troubled times and the only way to escape the wrath to come was through Jesus Christ. We showed how all the prophecies had come true and even the end time prophecies were now being fulfilled. We sent these letters to many people we knew. We invited them to the next meeting and we were astonished at how many came. They all said they knew something was going on unusual and thanked many times for the letter. They now knew what was going on and wanted their names written in the book of life also. (John 4:35) Many accepted Christ and could feel His spirit entering them. It seemed as if it was just like early Christianity. Materialism just didnít matter anymore. It was our brothers and sisters in the Lord for whom we cared.

The weather was going crazy. We even found a Muslim prophecy where it said that winter would be like summer and summer would be like winter. There were also prophecies about the end times with earthquakes and violent storms increasing in number as with a woman having birth pangs. (Matthew 24:7-8) The enemies of Christ had said these changes had been caused by humans. A Catholic had brought out a quote from Theresa Newman, an Austrian stagmatist saying that God was pleased with the charity of the United States after WWII but He would still bring us to our knees using the elements. Now we could even better see that this was the judgment of God. She also said mankind could not stop God. As we thought this was part of the wrath of God. It wasnít humans causing the change. It was more spiritual pollution causing the change rather than environmental pollution.

As we were having one of many meetings that were now becoming very frequent something strange happened. We heard a thunderous shout (I Thessalonians 4:16) and the next thing we knew we were suddenly (1 Corinthians 15:52) in a place called New Jerusalem. (Revelation 21:2) God had sent Michael the Archangel to rescue us just as He promised. (Daniel 12:1)

Whoa! I enjoyed this very much. I'm wondering how much longer it's going to be before the trumpet sounds. This world is slowly, but surely becoming more and more like Sodom and Gomorrah. Thank you and God bless.

wow...thank goodness it says in Matthew not to sit around and wait for the end to come but to just keep working on being a witness for Christ! I can't wrap my head around end times let alone worry about them!

I found this interesting and thought provoking. I believe we are going to be rescued by the Lord Jesus but until He comes, we have lots of work to do in the Kingdom. Thanks for your insight.
