Each day
given in love
and a gift of life
Each moment
a breath with God
Our soul unites with His light
How are we so blessed
to be created with
such care and compassion?
Each day is a stepping
stone to our eternal
home in heaven
Each day turns
to weeks of
living with a grateful heart
Yes, on the path
there are storms and
mountains which challenge
We carry our cross
and at times wonder
if we can go on
But then –
Just as we are
about to give up
Jesus carries the
cross with us
and at times for us
May we treasure
each moment
each week and the weeks that follow
We may not know
where God is calling us
Or what our future will be
But we do know
we have a soul
and heart connected to our creator
Each day
Each week
Each moment a most holy and sacred gift
