Giselle had been in love before, but never like this. She certainly never expected to see the love of her life coming out of her sister’s store.
He had deep brown eyes that immediately captivated her heart to him. His long hair was beautifully sculpted around his strongly featured face, and his body was flawlessly proportioned with muscular perfection.
God bless her sister for asking Giselle to pick her up after work, and praise God that she had decided to go into her sister's store to get her!

Alejandro’s move to America two years ago had helped him to overcome much of the crippling shyness that had plagued his younger life. Despite his Italian roots and his countrymen’s aptitude for wooing the opposite sex, he had never fallen in love. But, in one moment, he contradicted his own belief that love at first sight was impossible. By falling in love. And in that second, his shyness came flooding back.
His heart beats sounded like a bongo drum to his ears. He blinked. Surely she was just a mirage, a figment of his imagination. She floated down the sidewalk toward him. Say something! His brain screamed. What could he say? Oh, Lord, help me…help me speak!

“Giselle…Giselle!” Her sister’s voice was commanding her attention. In a daze she looked up at her sister, who looked like she was privately laughing at something. Her sister turned toward the man who was patiently holding the leash of the most beautiful specimen of God’s creation Giselle had ever seen.

The shop’s owner was introducing him, Alejandro, to her. Her name was Giselle!
In, out. In, out. Breathe, Alejandro…now was not the time to hyperventilate and lose his chance to meet her…
***
Giselle resented the interruption but obediently turned her eyes toward the man, and found…
He was beautiful…deep brown eyes that begged her to tell him her deepest secrets, perfectly sculpted features…ay, yie, yie…she had never believed in love at first sight. But that’s all it took…one moment.
