Born to this world; Born of this world
Seeking approval from men
Oh Lord, just a touch of Your hand
Just a touch of Your grace

Riddled with sickness; Covered with shame
Living for me, not for You
Oh Lord, just a touch of Your robe
Just a touch of Your grace

Iím just a sinner, a soul that is black
Lift me I pray from this grave
Oh Lord, just a touch of Your blood
Just a touch of Your grace

And now You have saved me by shedding Your blood
Raising me up from my hell
Oh Lord, just a touch of Your cross
Just a touch of Your grace

Today I will praise You from down on my knees
And soon maybe holding Your hand
Oh Lord, just a touch of Your love
Just a touch of Your grace

When lights have faded and rest, it shall come
I know You will light up my grave
Oh Lord, just a touch of Your mercy
Just a touch of Your grace

Wow. Just a touch. That's all we need.

This is a beautiful poetic prayer. An editing note: may by in the way you used it should be two words. It felt like this prayer could have been uttered by many of us.
