Red double-decker buses going round Trafalgar square
Fish and chips shops on every main corner
Changing of the guards at Buckingham palace.
My postcard was from London.

The statue of Liberty the enduring symbol stands tall.
The view from Empire State building was breathtaking.
Central Park was a delight for any visitor
My post card was from New York.

Sally and I walked through history lane in Picasso Museum.
We had a really good view of the Mediterranean Sea,
We ate seafood paella to our heart content.
My post card was from Barcelona.

We climbed all the stairs to the Eiffel Tower,
Notre Dame Cathedral was an unforgettable experience,
The kids enjoyed Disney land tremendously.
My post card was from Paris.

Indescribable Peace,
Awe struck by the pearly gates and gold paved street,
Praise and Worship filled the air.
I won’t be coming back!
My post card was from Heaven.

Nice thought--What would our picture postcard from Heaven look like? Reading that last verse makes me want to shut my eyes and picture how it will be.
