What does green bring to our minds? Like almost everything else in the world, it has two sides. We may think of growth, wealth, or nature's beauty. On the other hand, it might be envy, illness, or slime. To get green, we mix blue and yellow. This makes me wonder. If, we combine the things we associate with green's elements, will they result in something that makes us think green.

For instance, if we think of clear blue skies plus warm yellow sunshine surely we will come up with the lush green of nature. Or perhaps we might consider the blue of deep waters and the yellow of the sun and think, growth, as in, its time to mow the grass.

Then there's the other side. If we are feeling blue with a touch of the yellow of fear, we just might wind up sick. Or, if we are thinking about a popular person's seemingly many true blue friends and their sunny happiness, we might turn green with envy.

I suppose, its like all of the other elements of life, it comes down to what we choose. So, What will it be? Will you choose growing in the Lord, basking in the wealth of His blessings, and appreciating the beauty of God's green earth. Or, will you settle for envy of those you think have more than you, an unhealthy spirit, and yuck?

This would make a good devotion with a little more information. Keep writing.

I also felt I was reading a devotional, which is good. I like the way you wrapped this up as you give the reader food for thought.
