He held my hands
and on we walked
We walked together
We went on and on
We talked, chatted, giggled
We enjoyed each other痴 company
Then...

alas!
I felt my hands free
He was gone
I searched, strained and
craned to see afar
Not a glimpse.
Then a glimpse behind
a mist
I caught it only in a flash
Then it faded.
I strained all the more
and found I値l have to walk
I値l have to trek
I値l have to climb. Climb?
I値l also have to descend. Descend?
Oh goodness
It looked like a cave
I値l have to scramble
crawl
I知 tired
I feel all alone
Looked around me, and was cold
All was stone

I started for the journey
Another glimpse
He appeared to be arms open
waiting for me, smiling sweetly
I began. Ran, trekked, slouched
scrambled, stumbled, fell, rose
My throat painfully dry
I was thirsty, I pressed on
And
within some metres I was close
So close!
He reached out before I
could finish
Gathered me and cuddled
me all up in His arms
Oh

And he said to me
選 only wanted you to grow
I wanted you to know
...My ways
See how you致e grown

I loved this because it is our journey! God doesn't always feel close, we are growing in all those places as we continue to thirst for Him. Beautiful!

This is the journey of all journeys. You did a great job with the presentation of this earthly walk.
