O Lord my God, I stand in awe of you.
When I think of your wonderful works,
I can`t but wonder how great you are.

You are the light of life,
in you there is no darkness

When you hide yourself from us,
you cover yourself with darkness
and we become afraid and stranded.

You reveal your light to us
and our needs are met.

You created light
and you made darkness.
You called the light - day
and you named the darkness - night

You are the God of the universe
and the Lord of all creation.

O Lord, you are so great.
I can`t but sing of your power and might.

Your dominion is so great
and your presence is felt everywhere.

At the mention of your name,
every knee shall bow
and every tongue shall confess
that you are Lord.

You reign in the heavens, on the earth
and under the earth.

Your light shines in the dark
and the darkness can not comprehend it.
O Lord, how great you are!

Interesting and psalm-like--like a compilation of the different things that scripture says about light and dark.

I'd have enjoyed more of your own ideas about light and dark and God.

Your love for your Savior is very evident in this poem.

You captured the way you feel about God and His light, majesty, and power in this poem!
