Come Away With Jesus

Come away, to a quiet place,
For a time of sweet retreat.
Spend some time with Him alone,
Find freedom from defeat.

With patience, He is waiting,
Your Saviour longs for you,
To cease your endless striving,
And find His love is true.

Jesus understands your fear,
He knows how much you care.
Yearns so much to comfort you.
And show you, He is there.

His love has always been there,
Though at times you could not see,
The trials of life have bound you up,
But He can set you free.

Only you can make that choice,
Will you open up that door?
Behold, He stands there knocking.
He has so much in store.

Will you take Him at His word,
To trust Him and believe?
The gift of life - He offers you,
Is yours - you can receive.

So come to Jesus, as you are,
His love, no one can sever,
The promises - He offers you,
Will truly last for ever.
