If we have made one mistake, it is in thinking that we live After.
We do not.
A.D.- After Died, some say.
Anno Domini: The Year of the Lord.
We do not live After.
We live During. We live Before.

If we have made one mistake, it is in thinking that we see clearly.
We do not.
Clear vision is yet to come.
For now we must hope.
For now we must believe.

If we have made one mistake, it is in thinking that we have the answers.
We do not.
We have only found the questions.
The answers are yet to come.

If we have made one mistake, it is in thinking that all is finished.
It is not.
There is still much work left to do.

If we have made one mistake, it is in thinking that we live After.
We do not.

His Day is yet to come.

I like the thought-provoking nature of this, and the parralel structure.

I wonder what I'd be like with some added imagery, or perhaps a bit of figurative language here and there?

This packs a lot of punch in just a few words.
