My kingdom is real even though you cannot see it with the natural eye: it has power and authority over all other kingdoms and nations. My kingdom will subsume all other kingdoms and I will reign forever more.

At this time, my kingdom exists in two realms: in the heavens – the spiritual realm and on earth. However it is not now visible on earth, but exists only in your heart. It is within you and is only manifest through your words and your actions.

If you are a part of my kingdom, I expect to sit on the throne of your heart: I must be your central focus and the basis for all your decisions and actions. The whole focus of your life should be directed towards pleasing me. The foremost thought in your mind should be to do the things I delight in. My kingdom must be first and foremost above all else.

I am my kingdom and my kingdom is bound up in me – there is no kingdom without me. So when you pursue my Kingdom you are pursuing me - obeying with your heart all the things I command you to do.

When I say you obey with your heart, I mean your heart must desire me and seek to please me like you were pursuing life itself. If all you seek to do is to follow the letter of the law – the things written in the Book, then perhaps you do not truly belong to my kingdom. To truly embrace my kingdom, you must seek to know the King intimately, that you will get to know my own heart and so understand the intent and purpose of what I say.

When your heart seeks my heart then the Spirit – My Spirit will reveal to you the true meaning of my words and the secrets of my kingdom. Then you will know me and love me and understand that whatever I tell you is founded on my love for you. That is the foundation of my kingdom - love and rust.

I really like the idea of taking a page from God's notebook! You've got some great imagery here.

One question: Love and rust?

Some excellent writing--I enjoyed this very much.

So true! So true! An interesting point of view with writing from God's notebook....what about addressing it "To my people"? or something royal like?
