I could hear the wave's crashing into the shore and over head the sea gull's cooing.
They where telling each other 'she has failed again. The beach was my favorite place to
go to just think.Just to close my eyes and listen to everything that God has made.

Everything there was beauitful,not a mess like me.Being a preacher's kid ,I thought
I had to be perfect and it just never worked for me.After five failed marriage's I knew I
was a great dispointment to dad.

After plenty of sun,I slowly walked back home.Digging my toes in the sand. There
was a penny from heaven,I thought. And then suddenly I received the real message.
It said;IN GOD WE TRUST. The sea gull's was saying,he is the one you need not
to dispoint. Our God that made us all.

It sounds like experiencing the unconditional love of your Heavenly Father has been an uphill challenge for you. How wonderful that God knows just what we need to help us realize how great His love is. I hope you kept that penny!

We're none of us born into this world Christians, even if we have Christian parents.
There is a unlaying message that I thought was right nice.
We must be born again, save the penny or save the word--but the Word has greater dividends.
Good short story. God bless ya, littlelight

This could be expanded into a really nice story.

I agree that our identity is fragile and we too often look to others to define it. A good comment in reference to the God that we trust: "he is the one you need not to dispoint".

Good job! There is nothing like communing with God at the beach. He seems to always speak loudest near a beach or maybe we just listen better when on a beach. Thanks for sharing and remember God always loves us and welcomes us with open arms no matter where we
have been or how long we were gone.

wow... there's potentially a lot of emotion behind this one. I'd really love to see those explored a bit more. We see just the tip of that iceberg... there's so much more in there.
