I give God all praise, honor and glory for being a God who knows what tomorrow holds and nothing is hidden from Him. Thank you Father for building a bridge from heaven to earth before you formed this earth. You Father had foreknowledge of how we your beloved children would be. You knew we would need a bridge between us and You took care of that for us. You sent your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, as that bridge.
Jesus came as a child born of Mary. Jesus grew to manhood in a very human body. He knew heartache, suffering, hunger, pain and most of all rejection from the very people he came to save. Thank you Father for loving us so much that You sent Your only begotten Son as heavens bridge to save the world.
There are many different kinds of bridges and each serves a purpose. God gave us the wisdom to build bridges of such magnitude and when you look at some of those bridges, they are a thing of beauty. Take for example the Golden Gate Bridge. Whoa, that structure is awesome but not all the bridges in this world can equal that one bridge God the Father sent to earth. Jesus is the propitiation for our sins.
I have lived long enough to know that some people will think I have gone off the deep end by comparing Jesus to a bridge but Christ is a conduit to God the Father. The Father is so holy he cannot look upon sin but Jesus can. I am so thankful to the Father for all that He has done for me. Each day I am amazed at what transpires as the day progresses. All this child can do at the end of each day is praise God the Father for all I have and will ever have. God gave me His living Holy Word to guide me and teach me all the things in life I will ever need. Father, I thank you for that wonderful, beautiful and glorious bridge Jesus Christ. He is my mind, body, heart and soul.
