As I sit along the waters,
To contemplate your will,
Your tide is so unchanging,
You move when I am still.
The breeze upon my face,
I know is breath from you,
Surrounding me like a blanket,
A tapestry of blue.
The sands on which I walk,
Represent your unending love,
A peace that passes understanding,
More vast than the skies above.
Wading in the peaceful waters,
So tranquil and pristine,
Each element of your holy beach,
Is of Heaven still unseen.
I look out in the ocean,
Knowing you created this place,
Where every wave is perfect,
The grains of sand your grace.
The sun reflects the golden waves,
I hear the sea gulls cry,
The sand shifts beneath me,
My time is growing nigh'.
As I stand to leave the beach,
Everything stands still,
I didn't come here by accident,
It was always in your will.
