I long to hold in my arms
To hear your small voice cry
But God is calling you home
He must need you more than I

For now I must say goodbye
I've never seen your face
But I could feel you move inside
Your small life Id only begun to embrace

Release you to the angels
With your own wings to fly
I hold you close to my heart
And whisper another gentle goodbye

Goodbye to the moments we will never have
Goodbye to joys we will never know
Goodbye to sorrows we will never share
But never will I say goodbye to Hope

Hello to the tears that offer hope
So onward to heaven you should fly
Remember I will always love you
I must remember with God it's really never goodbye

Please may you fly to heaven
With Heaven's borrowed wings
To see the joy upon your very face
And to celebrate the blessing of His very own embrace

Maybe it's more than just a dream
Simplicity, but yet a reality
To see this world through Heaven's eyes
And share your love with different heights

A joy, a sorrow yet restrained
New vision, new life, a new joy regained
The borrowed wings must be returned
For Heaven's taught a lesson learned

I felt this one with you--in more ways than one. So bittersweet...
