These Hands

These hands are the hands of my Daddy
So strong, brave and secure
Of all the things Iíve been blessed with
My Daddy is one for sure.

These hands are the ones that held mine
As I learned to walk and play.
These hands have always helped me
In any and every way.

He is strong in faith and love
For me that is always true.
He even lets me still sit in his lap
Whenever I am feeling blue.

These hands worked hard for our family
To keep us happy and free
These hands will always be to me
Love that I can see.

These hands are always ready
To help me when he can
And that keeps me secure
Everyday as I live out Godís plan.

Never a thank you could be enough
For these hands so brave and strong.
But I always know he loves me
All my life long.
