Beautiful story. It leaves you wishing you could sit in the pew behind him that Sunday morning and watch the Holy Spirit transform him.

A well-written peice. Reads like a modern day Judas story with a positive twist.

Very good word choices in the descriptions. A nice lesson in how powerful prayer can be.

Wow! What turmoil. You wrote it in such a real way that I felt his reluctance and pain. You planted the seed in this story that, no doubt, led to a transformation. Nicely done.
Loved the title, as well as the story. Powerful! Amazing how God shows Himself to even those who doubt. He doesn't have to, but He still does. God is so good! Thanks for your story. Couple of punctuation errors, but beautifully written!
Fantastic!! A winner with me. I loved your story. Wow, I am still thinking about it. I loved the silent prayer of the boy and God answered it. Remarkable!
Awesome story. You played out the story so nicely. The ending was the happy ending everyone wants to experience with their loved ones. A true story of hope, answered prayer, and the promises of God becoming a reality.

Dave
You really tweaked the emotions with this sinister piece, exploding with the resurrection power of Jesus! Very effective use of repetition, Madonna. Congratulations on a well-deserved win!
Awesome! I absolutely LOVE this story. Yahoooo! Congratulations on a well deserved win. I foresee many more in your future! :)

This was one of my favorite lines -- As the pack skulked down the sidewalk Brent hung back, sucking on a cigarette as if it was his last link to life. Great description!

I would love to read more!
This really pulled me in! I was caught - hook, line, and sinker - and you landed me successfully!!! Our God is a God of miracles, and what a sigh of relief to witness this one in your story. :-)
