How many trials and tribulations have you suffered in your life? Are they too numerous for you to remember them all? Do not feel as if you are alone? Do you feel sometimes like giving up and throwing in the towel? Every one of us has had mountains to climb, valleys to go through and days that seem to have no end.

Recently this happened to me and I think it is so appropriate for this weeks saying. My daughter-in-law called and asked if I could fly up to help her with her daycare business as well as take care of my precious grandson. She is expecting her second child the first part of August. She was suffering morning sickness as well as horrible migraines. She was physically unable to take care of the children, so I said yes.

A problem arose which I had no idea how to resolve. Where was the money coming from for the airfare? Yes, I did have a savings account but a round trip ticket was expensive. Where was I going to get the amount needed for the trip? How dark the situation seemed.
I was heartsick and I could not see how I could possibly make my yes answer I gave my daughter-in-law a reality.

God knew my daughter-in-law needed help and He had a plan already in motion unbeknownst to me. I love God and how He works miracles is amazing. I truly enjoy it when I am reading my little devotional and I open my Bible to the passage suggested. It is as if an unseen hand opened my Bible to chapter and verse. Well, the day before she called I received a very large check from the company I retired from in 1994. I thought there was some mistake. I couldn’t figure out why I was receiving this check. I called on Monday and the check was valid. Whoa, God, how did you do that? The check covered the amount of the ticket with a few dollars extra. That blew my mind.

With God, all things are possible even money sent from heaven above. Put your trust in God, get your own self out of His way, and watch what happens. Never look back but forward for hope springs eternal. We may face trials and tribulations but we have a God who hears our call. He gently bends down picks us up puts us back on our feet so we can go forward.

I love to hear when God answers prayer, even before we pray them. Thanks for sharing your story - very encouraging!
